ABOUT US

The HELLADIKON L.T.D. is a Greek company in the region of Chania, Crete.

The new generation of Tzouganakis family, proceeds the traditional process of the extra virgin olive oil with modern methods nowadays and faithful to the principles of their grandparents. The oil is stored in tanks made of stainless steel which are certified and comply with the regulations of hygiene and safety for food, and is then packed with modern machines according to the regulations of the European Union and the World Council of Olive Oil. We aim at ensuring the ideal conditions of preserving and maintaining olive oil in order to keep unaltered its quality characteristics.
HELLADIKON L.T.D. focuses on both safety and quality across a whole supply chain from the farm to the end consumers table.

BRAND NAME

Hellas & olive oil

The word Helladikon comes from Greece and identifies the Greeks living on the Hellenic Republic. The use of the term was the separation (when needed) between the Greeks living in the Greek state and the Greeks of Cyprus.
Helladikon means the high quality products comes from Greece - Hellas.

International studies have shown that the population of Crete had the best health status and lower mortality rates from coronary heart disease and cancer than all other populations studied. Τhe consumption of olive oil in Crete is much higher than that of other Mediterranean regions and countries within and outside the European area. It is the only oil extracted by mechanical processes as opposed to seed oils produced by chemical process. Thus, olive oil retains its antioxidant substances, which are now believed to prevent oxidative damage leading to atherosclerosis, various cancers, a variety of degenerative diseases and dementia.
Olive oil is a high nutritive vegetable oil and biological value.
